TORONTO – December 7, 2018 – The YMCA of Greater Toronto is thrilled to be selected as one of the Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for the 11th year. The Greater Toronto’s Top Employers competition has become the benchmark in the Greater Toronto Area for workplace best practices.

Top Employer recognitions are awarded only after rigorous evaluations. “We’re honoured to once again be recognized with this prestigious award and continually to strive to be among the best workplaces in Canada for our 6,000 full- and part-time employees,” said Medhat Mahdy, President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Toronto. “We’re proud to provide diverse and socially-inclusive work environments and offer growth opportunities that help our employees make our communities home to the healthiest children, teens and young adults.”

The YMCA of Greater Toronto offers a range of employment opportunities for a variety of roles including early childhood educators, fitness professionals, employment counsellors, camp counsellors and outdoor educators at 440 locations stretching from Milton to Clarington and Toronto to Shelburne.
