Our century-old building has been beautifully modernized into an airy, loft-style space and includes:

YMCA Early Learning and Care programs offered at this location provide children 1.5 to 4 years with the support they need to make a seamless transition to full-day kindergarten.

At the Y, we believe that children learn best when their natural activity of play is encouraged. Our curriculum, YMCA Playing to Learn™, offers programming focused on fostering a child’s enthusiasm and capacity for lifelong learning through active and quiet play experiences. Qualified YMCA educators will engage in play activities with your child that stimulate early learning while enhancing their social, emotional, and physical development, building their confidence, and developing essential school readiness skills.

YMCA Licensed School Age programs for children 6 to 12 years offer flexible scheduling, convenient locations and affordable fees for before and after school child care.

A bright start and end to each school day

Feel confident that your child’s time before and after school is just as constructive and creative as when they’re in the classroom. Our programs are designed to not only support children’s developmental needs, but also promote independence and strong leadership skills. Our holistic curriculum, YMCA A Place to Connect™, ensures that children spend their mornings and afternoons building positive relationships with peers, enjoying nutritious snacks, and engaging in indoor and outdoor activities geared toward their unique interests.

Day Camp Programs

Our West End Y Day Camp is an air conditioned facility with a gymnasium, program rooms and green space. Campers will participate in a recreational swim twice a week in the 25m pool. Camp operates 9 am–4 pm.

Summer Day Camp programs range from arts and science to sports, swimming, leadership, outdoor adventures and more! Registration for Summer 2026 opens on January 13, 2026.

Day Camp is also offered during Winter and March Break at a reduced number of locations across the GTA to help with your school break care.
