YMCA Camp and Outdoor Centres offers programs year-round. Camp programs help the next generation of leaders develop skills, discover themselves and build self-confidence through fun and adventure.
The YMCA of Greater Toronto has two Outdoor Centres.
YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre is located in the Oak Ridges Moraine, just 45 minutes north of Toronto, and YMCA Camp Pine Crest is located on Clear Lake, in the heart of Muskoka.
Both centres are the perfect place for children, youth and adults to grow in confidence and learn new skills. We welcome outdoor education seekers and offer variety of outdoor experiential education programs.
The Y offers day camp at locations across the GTA and in Muskoka. Campers ages 4 to 16 can enjoy a variety of fun, interactive activities, sports, games, arts and crafts and even science experiments.
Day Camp programs are offered Monday to Friday during school break sessions including Summer, Winter, and March Break.
We believe physical and social activities are critical for children’s development.
Our premier overnight camp programs include the traditional camp necessities such as swimming, canoeing, outdoor living skills, natural arts and crafts and rock climbing for children aged 4-16 during the summer months. We offer two-night introductory camp experiences, one and two-week traditional overnight camp programs, and upwards of 8-week paddling expeditions to Northern wilderness for our Leadership camper. These overnight camp programs are run out of YMCA Camp Pine Crest, beautifully nestled in the heart of Muskoka, Ontario. We offer an opportunity for every camper and skill level.
The YMCA has been deliverying premier Leadership Camp programs for over 100 years. YMCA Camp Pine Crest is known for its challenging leadership programs, out-tripping, and commitment to developing skills for individuals that contribute back to their home community. No matter which leadership program you choose, you will work with staff who are committed to helping you thrive by working to develop independence, caring relationships, and skills. We offer incredible experiences for teens to help them improve their confidence, communication skills and independence, all in the outdoors. Participants will leave these programs inspired to better themselves and the world around them!
