What is a Community Support Agriculture?
The Community Supported Agriculture program is an opportunity for you to get a weekly share of produce during the growing season. Members can pick up their share from the farm at Cedar Glen or in Toronto at West End YMCA and Cooper Koo Family YMCA during the hours listed above.

How does it work?

Membership grants you access to a share of our harvest available for pick-up on a weekly basis. You can customize you share, allowing you to choose vegetables from what is available in our fields. Operating on a point system, you can choose from three different membership plan: small (4 points), medium (6 points), large (8 points). Each crop or bundle is worth one point. Depending on what you opt for, each week you will have a greater or lesser number of points to customize your share. Every week you will receive a list of vegetables you can choose from for your share.

West End College St. YMCA

- Small: 4 points = $84
- Medium: 6 points = $126
- Large: 8 points = $168

Cooper Koo Family Cherry St. YMCA

Why choose the YMCA for your CSA?
Fresh, local, organic food – organized around community action. By choosing us, you are supporting community agriculture and helping us meet youth education goals. In July and August, the YMCA Cedar Glen Organic Farm is home to our farm camp, where young people aged 6-10 learn how to grow food and why it matters.

For any questions e-mail Melisanne.
