Volunteering is a great way to connect with other community members, expand your friendship circle, develop skills and complete your community service or student placement hours.
We are inspired by the number of community members who want to join us in helping to create vibrant communities. Lately we’ve been impressed by the strong interest and the large number of applications coming our way. Our team is carefully reviewing each application and it can take us approximately 4 weeks to process and respond to applicants. Please keep in mind that successful applicants will be required to complete an interview, reference screening and police check for those over 18. We will be in touch as soon as possible and appreciate your enthusiasm.

How to Volunteer
Step 1: Discover how you want to help

Find the opportunity that is right for you by looking through our Volunteer Opportunities and the list of locations where each is offered.
Step 2: Complete our application form

Complete our Volunteer Application and either submit it online or print and drop it off in person at the YMCA location of your choice.
Step 3: Check your inbox for updates

A YMCA staff member will review your application and connect with you as soon as possible.
