The YMCA is proud that its main partners continue to make sound long-term investments in the next generation and in the health of our communities through strengthened support towards health priorities such as employment, health and fitness, education and social inclusion. Our partners include organizations the YMCA is contractually associated with, Collaborators who work jointly with our YMCA and Policy partnerships with organizations that have shared principles, public policies or advocacy and education strategies.
The YMCA of Greater Toronto has developed partnerships with local YMCAs in eight different countries. The purpose of these partnerships is to support community development projects, share resources, tools and technical expertise, and learn about the issues that affect us all.
The YMCA is dedicated to strengthening the foundations of community—and peace is fundamental to strong and healthy communities. Peace is important to the YMCA and we celebrate it each Fall during Peace Week. The YMCA appreciates the acts for peace taking place around us.
