A bright start to a healthy future

At the Y, we believe that children learn best when their natural activity of play is encouraged. Our curriculum, YMCA Playing to Learn, offers programming focused on fostering a child’s enthusiasm and capacity for lifelong learning through active and quiet play experiences. Qualified YMCA educators will engage in play activities with your child that stimulate early learning while enhancing their social, emotional, and physical development.

For more than 50 years, the YMCA has strengthened communities across the Greater Toronto Area by providing child care programs that support and nurture the well-being of young children. Let us help your child build confidence and develop essential school readiness skills so that they can have a strong start to a great future.
