Programs Available at this Centre
This centre provides high quality licensed care for children in a stimulating environment so they can learn, grow and thrive. Our programs are based upon a curriculum designed to help children reach their full potential and our qualified early childhood educators facilitate play experiences that will help your child develop foundational skills. All our centres have access to outdoor spaces and activities.
Child Care (0-4 years)
YMCA Early Learning and Care programs offered at this location provide children with the support they need to make a seamless transition to full-day kindergarten.
A strong start to a healthy future
At the Y, we believe that children learn best when their natural activity of play is encouraged. Our curriculum, YMCA Playing to Learn™, offers programming focused on fostering a child’s enthusiasm and capacity for lifelong learning through active and quiet play experiences. Qualified YMCA educators will engage in play activities with your child that stimulate early learning while enhancing their social, emotional, and physical development, building their confidence, and developing essential school readiness skills.
Before & After School (4-12 years)
YMCA Licensed School Age programs for children offer flexible scheduling, convenient locations and affordable fees for before and after school child care.
A bright start and end to each school day
Feel confident that your child’s time before and after school is just as constructive and creative as when they’re in the classroom. Our programs are designed to not only support children’s developmental needs, but also promote independence and strong leadership skills. Our holistic curriculum, YMCA A Place to Connect™, ensures that children spend their mornings and afternoons building positive relationships with peers, enjoying nutritious snacks, and engaging in indoor and outdoor activities geared toward their unique interests.
Family & Community Support
EarlyON Child and Family
EarlyON Child and Family Centres are safe and inclusive environments where children up to 6 years of age can participate with their parents/caregivers in a range of play-based programming that nurture healthy early child development. EarlyON centres also offer programs and informational workshops that allow you to connect with your community, obtain expert advice on subjects relating to child-rearing from a team of qualified child care professionals, and learn about local family services and resources.
Programs are FREE to all families and many are offered on a drop-in basis. Centre’s are open at various hours throughout the day, evening, and weekend to meet the needs of your busy schedule.
