Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the YMCA of Greater Toronto. We will do our best to place all volunteers who apply. If you are applying to become a volunteer, please be aware that due to the high volume of applications we receive, it will take between 5to 10 business days for one of our staff to contact you once your application has been received. Once you are contacted, our screening process generally takes four to six weeks to complete. We appreciate your patience.
All volunteer applicants who successfully complete our screening process will be required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical or other Human Rights Code-related exemption.
Our fall student placements are now filled. To inquire about winter student placements, please email volunteering@ymcagta.org after October.
