New day camp experiences at Cedar Glen this summer
Farm to Table
Campers will harvest produce directly from Cedar Glen’s organic farm, then use what they picked to prepare delicious food! They will have the chance to learn more about organic farming and the importance of agriculture, while exciting their taste buds and learning to prepare new culinary creations.
Jr. Nature Explorers
Campers will experience the natural environment by exploring habitats and ecosystems, identifying trees and plants, and learning about environmental conservation. They will make environmentally friendly crafts such as bird feeders and bird houses to take home at the end of the session.
Global Village (exclusive to Cedar Glen)
In the Global Village program, campers will engage with games, art, and culture from across the world while learning more about the regions in which they are found. They will also share and learn about each other’s diverse and vibrant backgrounds.
Babysitters in Action
Make new friends, learn new skills, build self-esteem, and give back to the community. Babysitters in Action participants will have the opportunity to complete the Babysitter Training Course, as well as a conflict resolution workshop. Participants will also take part in workshop sessions, and practice their skills with some of our younger campers.
All of these amazing programs also include other fun camp activities including archery, high ropes, and (of course) swimming! Check out our online eGuide to see the full range of day camp options at Cedar Glen, and learn how to register. We look forward to seeing your camper this summer!
