More than 60 YMCA volunteers receive the Ontario Volunteer Service Award

18 April 2018 - by Lucy Schmidt
The Ontario Volunteer Services Award recognizes volunteers who provide committed and dedicated service to an organization for five years or more, as well as a youth award which recognizes a minimum two years of service. We are very proud of our recipients for their impressive contributions; this year’s 61 recipients have volunteered at the YMCA for an amazing 467 years. That's 467 combined years of contributions to the growth, health, and development of their communities. These volunteers don't just say they want to make a difference — they are active participants in bringing about positive change every time they walk through the centre door.

Congratulations to our award recipients! We thank you for being our vital partners, teachers, and friends.
