We're opening a YMCA Ontario Early Years Program in Markham!

Today the YMCA of Greater Toronto, in partnership with the York Catholic District School Board, celebrates the grand opening of San Lorenzo Ruiz YMCA Ontario Early Years Program in Markham, which will bring a variety of early years programs and support services to the families in the Markham community.
Now Markham children will be able to enjoy some of our Early Years programs, including Come Sing with Me, which focuses on the influences of music on literacy, and a Family Fun Program, which introduces parents and caregivers to early development through arts and crafts, math and science, music and literacy and imaginary play.
The YMCA has been delivering early years programs across York and Durham regions since they were initiated by the provincial government in 2002. The programs support families with children ages 0-6 years old, and allow parents and caregivers to work directly with early years professionals and other experts from community programs.
