YMCA of Greater Toronto Tees Off for Kids!

24 June 2015 - by ymcablog
The sun was shining as more than 200 golfers teed off this week in support of the YMCA Golf Challenge. This year’s event was a big success, raising more than $150,000 to help give more kids the chance to reach their full potential!

With the Games just around the corner, golfers enjoyed a round at Angus Glen Golf Course, the official site of the first-ever Pan AM Games golf tournament. And with many on-course treats (fruit kabobs, lobster rolls and ice cream – oh my!) and on-course contests, it was a great day on the greens.

The fun continued into the evening as guests bid on fantastic silent auction prizes and were treated to a performance by a YMCA children’s Tae Kwon Do group.

A big thank you to all of our sponsors, participants and volunteers for making this incredible day possible. If you would like to secure your spot now for next year’s YMCA Golf Challenge, please contact contact Helen Barbalias at Helen.barbalias@ymcagta.org.
