Explore Goodwood Claremont Y Day Camp

Choosing the right camp for your kids from our 45 different camp locations across the GTA can be overwhelming. To make things easier for you, every Thursday we will be featuring one of our day camp locations as part of our “Tour Thursdays” initiative. Today we are taking a look at Goodwood Claremont YMCA Day Camp!
Ages available: Juniors (6-8 years old), Seniors (9-12 years old)
Programs offered: Outdoor Adventure, Outdoor Adventure Overnight, Outdoor Living Skills, Natural Arts, Hike & Bike, Environmental Science, Jr. Nature Explorers. Check out our online Y Day Camps Guide for a full list of programs and dates.

About this camp:
Goodwood Claremont Y Day Camp is a big outdoor camp that takes full advantage of its natural surroundings. There are tons of trails, streams, ponds, and forests for campers to explore. There is also a low ropes course and archery available in this site, and the historic Pioneer House is used for lower-key camp activities.
Campers in Nature Explorers and Environmental Science use the bodies of water to conduct a stream and pond study. Campers will also swim twice per week at the Petticoat Creek Conservation Area.
