Celebrating giving and volunteering on national Philanthropy Day

National Philanthropy Day is a celebration of all forms of philanthropy — including giving, volunteering, and charitable engagement — that highlights the accomplishments, large and small, that philanthropy makes to our society and our world.
Every gift, no matter how large or small, tells a story about a caring person making a gift that is meaningful to them. And with every gift, our YMCA circle of giving grows to fit more stories, more generosity, more kindness into our community.
No matter what the circumstances — whether you’re 9 or 99, give monthly or give what you can when you can, or give a combination of time, talent and treasure — what you do makes a difference every day. So, while we honour you today on National Philanthropy Day, we celebrate your generosity and commitment throughout the year.
