Pine Crest
Description
The 4-week French River program is ideal for senior leadership participants who wish to divide their time between a wilderness expedition and in-camp programming. Participants will spend a week and a half at Pine Crest participating in leadership development and skill building, before embarking on an 8-day 103km flat-water canoe trip through the iconic French River Provincial Park. During this trip, they will learn the important skills it takes to guide a successful canoe trip. Upon their return to camp, participants will collaborate on programming and leadership initiatives, and reflect on their experiences at Pine Crest. This program is an all-gendered program, both trip and cabin accommodations will be all-gendered.

YMCA Financial Assistance
If you require Financial Assistance, please complete this form with proof of income. We recommend you continue to register for the program(s) of your choice. This is to hold your spot(s) until assistance approval is received. Spots and assistance are not guaranteed, and YMCA assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To register in advance of assistance approval, a credit card will be required for a deposit payment. You will receive a full refund if assistance is not approved, and you choose not to attend the program.

If you have a camper requiring 1:1 support, please contact the Camp Office directly at 1-877-878-9622 prior to registering for more information. Please note that we have limited spots in our 1:1 support program.

Please Note: Due to the nature of the lottery system for our leadership programs, we do not honor cabin mate requests.
PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
Request to withdraw from camp can be done through your My Y account before April 30 of the current camp year. You will receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit of $200. No refunds will be granted for non-medical withdrawals received on or after April 30 of the camp season.
If you are withdrawing due to a Medical reason, these can only be done via email and require a medical certificate. You can send your medical request along with the Medical Certificate to register@ymcagta.org. You will receive a full refund minus a $30 administrative fee.
Refunds will not be issued in instances where the camper is removed from the camp program at the choice or request of the camper or campers' guardians or is dismissed from camp for contravention of camp guidelines or code of conduct.

This bus will take your camper from Hollywood Public School to YMCA Camp Pine Crest.
All buses are supervised by Pine Crest staff bus marshals. Parents are required to sign campers in and out with the bus marshals upon pick-up and drop-off. Upon pick-up, a valid piece of government-issued ID is required and the individual must be on the campers authorized pick-up list.
Buses depart at the time stated on the bus schedule and will not wait for absent campers. Please arrive approximately 30 minutes before the stated departure time.
This bus stop is located at 360 Hollywood Ave, North York.

All buses are supervised by Pine Crest staff bus marshals. Parents are required to sign campers in and out with the bus marshals upon pick-up and drop-off. Upon pick-up, a valid piece of government-issued ID is required and the individual must be on the campers authorized pick-up list.
This bus stop is located at 230 Town Centre Court, Scarborough.
