Summer Day Camp (Ages 4-12)
YMCA Camp Pine Crest offers a day camp program, Little Critters, for families who live or cottage locally. Every week has a unique theme and every day is full of fun! For children between 4–12 years of age, this is the best place in Muskoka to spend summer days.
Summer 2025 Registration Opens January 13.
Little Critters Day Camp
Located in beautiful Muskoka, Camp Pine Crest offers a great day camp option for kids aged 4–12. We provide a safe and engaging camp experience where kids can get outside, make new friends and enjoy a wide range of summer camp programs. Day camp operates Monday–Friday throughout the summer between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
Fee: Full Week: $390; Short Week: $310*
*Early bird discount will be available from January 13 to March 31.
A typical day at camp
Campers will spend all day enjoying the outdoors! Rain or shine, campers will be having a blast exploring all Pine Crest has to offer. Campers will have 5 different program blocks throughout the day and take part in programming with the same group all week.
Little Critters Day Camp
Little Critters Day Camp is a nature-focused program where campers will spend their days in the great outdoors. Our Little Critters will explore the site in groups of 8–10 with a counsellor to lead them on their adventure. Your camper will swim in the lake, go on canoeing adventures, have scavenger hunts around the site, and make some crafts to take home! Every week has a different theme so if your campers are coming for more than one week in the summer, each one will be a unique experience.
Nature Explorers Day Camp
Nature Explorers Day Camp is a new program at YMCA Camp Pine Crest. This program focuses on learning about environmental conservation and allowing campers to explore the varying ecosystems, habitats, plants, and wildlife that we have here at Camp Pine Crest. Campers will take part in activities like nature hikes, canoeing, outdoor living skills, swimming, environmentally friendly crafts such as making bird feeders, bird houses and more. This is a great opportunity for campers 9–12 to experience the beauty, learning and fun Pine Crest has to offer.
Day Camp Lunch Option
Keep your camper fueled while having fun at YMCA Camp Pine Crest Day Camps by signing up for the lunch option! Each day, campers registered for the lunch option will enjoy camp favourites such as mac and cheese, hot dogs, build your own tacos/sandwiches, and more. Campers will be provided two snacks daily, such as yoghurt, crackers, fresh fruit and more. Please send your camper with a reusable water bottle so we can make sure they stay hydrated. If your camper has a food allergy, please email the camp registration office after registering, and our Food Services Director will reach out to you to ensure we can accommodate.
