Come join us for our annual Winter Family Fun Day! This is a great opportunity for families, alumni, campers and friends to come together and visit our site for a day of fun!
We'll have plenty of outdoor activities going on for all ages - high ropes, snowshoeing, tobogganing, campfires, arts & crafts & more.
A hot lunch will be served between 11:00am and 2:30pm - tickets can be purchased in advance with your registration or onsite (depending on availability).
Arrival begins at 10:00am.
All activities will wrap up at 3:00pm and our site will close at 3:30pm.
Tickets are required for all individuals ages 6 and up. Kids 5 and under are free of charge. Please ensure you have purchased a ticket for each individual that requires one.
Location
Situated on 263 acres of the Oak Ridges Moraine, YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre is the perfect place for children, youth and adults to grow in confidence and learn new skills. Cedar Glen welcomes outdoor education, retreat and conference groups, offering meals in our dining hall, overnight accommodations, meeting facilities and outdoor experiential education programs. Day camp runs during summer and school breaks, and a modern child care centre provides licensed care in the natural setting.

Notes
We are a large outdoor site, and most of our activities are located in the valley. Be prepared to travel between activities. For families with small kiddos, wagons are certainly encouraged!
Hats, mittens, scarves, water bottles and lots of layers are recommended!
There will also be plenty of opportunities to speak with our staff to see how you and your family can experience YMCA Cedar Glen all year long - family camps, group trips, forest school, summer day camps, childcare, etc.
Please ensure that you have purchased a ticket for each individual (ages 6 ) who will be attending. Kids 5 and under are free of charge.
Upon registering, you will also have the option to purchase lunch tickets for $10 per person.
For this Family Fun Day, the lunch options are as follows:
- Hot Lunch - Includes: beef chili plus a side, beverage & baked good.
- Hot Lunch *Vegetarian* - Includes: veggie chili, plus a side, beverage & baked good.
