Description
Tap dance is a unique style of dance involving specific and rapid footwork. Tap dancing teaches Rhythm & Musicality in which dancers wear shoes fitted with heel and toe taps, sounds out audible beats by rhythmically striking the floor or any other hard surface. Tap dance is a performance art that relies on dancers creating catchy rhythms with their feet.
Location
This family-friendly centre offers health and fitness services designed to help people of all ages get active, as well as child care and community-building programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. A large, private lot on-site provides free parking for members.

Notes
Wear comfortable clothes that won’t restrict movement. Please wear running shoes and bring a water bottle to each class. No Jeans.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons.
