Location(s)YMCA Camp Pine Crest – 1090 Gullwing Lake Road, Torrance, ON P0C 1M0 is located on the shores of Clear Lake in Muskoka, two and half hours north of Toronto.

Program Description

YMCA Camp Pine Crest has been operating premiere camping experiences since 1910. Summer Camp operates July and August and in the fall, winter and spring, we offer a wide range of program for youth, community and educational groups of all ages. 

Major Duties

  • Assist with general food prep.
  • Assist with washing and putting away dishes.
  • Assist with general upkeep of the dining hall.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 16 years.
  • Successful applicants to this role will need to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening from their local police service before their first day of volunteering and every three years on the anniversary of their first day of volunteering.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work with others in a team setting.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Responsible, reliable and committed to their role.
  • First Aid an asset.
  • Food Handling Certificate an asset.
