Programs Available at this Centre
For over 35 years, this YMCA has been providing child care, camps, and health and fitness services to members of its diverse surrounding community. On-site parking is available free to members.

YMCA Child Care fees are based on daily rates and are inclusive of all statutory holidays.Child Care fee subsidies are available for families who meet the eligibility requirements set out by the City of Toronto. Please contact the City of Toronto to begin the process of receiving subsidy at your earliest convenience.

Day Camp Programs
Based out of the Toronto Sheppard YMCA, this day camp creates the perfect opportunity for indoor and outdoor fun. Our Camp day starts and ends as a large camp community (approximately 130 campers) in the front courtyard with opening and closing circle, before counselors break off and follow their daily schedule with their group of 10-12 campers for their specific program.
Campers will swim 3 times a week in the indoor pool, play sports and games in the gymnasium, and create crafts in the program room. Extended hours are available on site from 7:30am until 6:00pm at an additional fee of $15/week for AM, $25/week for PM or $40/week for both.
*Pick up and drop off at this location happens “Kiss & Ride” style off the Sheppard entrance. Just drive up to one of our camp staff, sign your camper in or out, and continue your day!

Mindfulness is intentional attentiveness, emphasizing present-oriented experience. Mindfulness practices therefore are based on cognitive processes that direct us to a present-oriented focus. They emphasize the conscious perception of sensations. This is because when attending to sensations, our attention is present-oriented. Many mindfulness practices thus employ breathing sensations that are constantly available and impossible to falsify.
