Toronto Island YMCA offers both Day Camp and Outdoor Education programs. A short ferry ride from downtown Toronto, our parkland site offers a variety of land and water activities. Summer Day Camp provides programs that keep your child engaged and active with fun, structured activities. Outdoor Education programs are offered during June and September for school and youth groups of all ages.

The Y offers a wide range of camp programs across the GTA this summer.
YMCA Day Camp programs will keep your child active and engaged throughout the summer months with fun, structured activities in a welcoming environment that encourages and instills positive values. Campers will develop new skills, make new friends, and build self-esteem and confidence under the supervision of a highly trained YMCA staff team.
Programs at the Toronto Island include: Natural Arts, Environmental Science, Outdoor Adventure, Outdoor Living Skills, Paddle and Pedal, Multi-Sport Field, Wacky Sport, and Youth Leadership.

Outdoor Education programs are available during June and September. We welcome elementary and secondary school groups, colleges and universities, and other groups of 10 to 150 participants. Programming led by YMCA staff is tailored to achieve your objectives whether it’s building leadership skills, achieving curriculum expectations or selecting activities that engage your participants. We are monitoring the current flooding situation on the Toronto Island. Currently, we are still scheduled to start Camp July 4th 2017, however, if the flooding continues into mid-June we will relocate our camp programs to other locations. There is no need to re-register at this time. There will be more updates to follow!
