Description
These are the final 2 levels (level 8 and 9) of the YMCA Swim Program. Participants will work on advanced skills, endurance, as well as stroke improvement for butterfly. They will learn about first aid, assessment, water rescues, and practice physical skills needed to become a Lifeguard. Please shower at home and arrive wearing your bathing suit if possible. There are up to 810 children in the Star 5 - 6 level class.

Location
The Oshawa Y is a family-friendly centre offering child care, health and fitness services, and community programming. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free for members.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Cancellation Policy and Make up classes. Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
