This class is for children ages 3 - 5 who have completed the beginner and intermediate classes. This is level 5 and 6 of the YMCA Preschool Swim Program. Children in this class are working towards the following skills. • Can comfortably swim 2 lengths (50 meters) of the pool without stopping• Comfortably treads water for 30 seconds• Focus is on stroke correction and endurance using the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke. There are up to 4 children in the small group Surfer/Jumper level class.

For over 35 years, this YMCA has been providing child care, camps, and health and fitness services to members of its diverse surrounding community. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. Free parking is available on-site for members.
