Description
This is for all new students interested in the YMCA Karate program. This recreational class introduces students to sports fundamentals and basic karate techniques. Students will be ready for "Karate - Novice" classes at the end of this session.
Location
This YMCA is located at the heart of one of Toronto's trendiest West End neighborhoods. There's something for everyone at this family-friendly centre featuring child care, camp, community programs, and health and fitness services. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

Notes
Wear comfortable clothes that won’t restrict movement. Please bring a water bottle to each class and ensure that students have used the bathroom prior to the start of class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started. Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons.
