This class is for children ages 3 - 5 who have completed the beginner and intermediate classes. This is level 5 and 6 of the YMCA Preschool Swim Program. Children in this class are working towards the following skills.
• Can comfortably swim 2 lengths (50 meters) of the pool without stopping• Comfortably treads water for 30 seconds• Focus is on stroke correction and endurance using the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke. There are up to 4 children in the Surfer/Jumper class.
