Description
These classes are for our youngest swimmers (ages 6 months - 2 years) and their adult caregiver. Children will be introduced to fun activities in the water to activate the movements that will eventually lead to swimming. By the end, your child will be comfortable having their face in the water, and will have learned basic movements while being supported. They will also be introduced to gliding, and continue to practice other movements. Through structured activities and play, children will also become comfortable submerging themselves under water. Parents are required to be in the water for all infant lessons. There are up to 12 children in the Splasher/Bubbler class.

Location
Conveniently located next to the Scarborough Town Shopping Centre, this YMCA offers child care, health and fitness, employment, new immigrant, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free to members.

Notes
Swim diapers (reusable or disposable) are required for children who are not fully toilet trained.
Goggles are recommended for this class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
