Description
This is the final course to take to become a certified Lifeguard. You must have completed Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid before enrolling in this course. The National Lifeguard (NL) certification is the industry standard for professional lifeguards in Canada. NL guards are water rescue professionals trained in emergency care. They prevent accidents, spot potential trouble and intervene before it becomes life-threatening. Candidates are required to bring their bathing suits and a fox 40 whistle.
Prerequisite: Age 15 years, Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid with CPR C

A new state-of-the-art YMCA is now open on Kingston Road in the Upper Beach area. Our newest Centre of Community is a 60,000 square foot, fully accessible facility. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
