Description
This is the first required course to become a Lifeguard. You can take Bronze Star before this course, but it's not required. Participants will develop an understanding of lifesaving principles and learn valuable skills needed to be successful in an aquatic emergency.
Emergency First Aid is for people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries, recognized by Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board.
Prerequisite: Age 13 or Bronze Star certification.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto, these award-winning facilities feature a wide range of health and fitness facilities and programs, a new immigrant services centre, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
