Description
Jazz is a lively and energetic dance. Aimed at improving flexibility and strength, proper placement, posture and alignment are stressed. Jazz is diverse including everything from classical Broadway styles to today's modern jazz styles.
Location
This family-friendly centre offers health and fitness services designed to help people of all ages get active, as well as child care and community-building programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. A large, private lot on-site provides free parking for members.

Notes
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Dancers must come in appropriate dance attire, fitted athletic clothing. No jeans, no track pants. Please come in leggings, shorts, leotards, t-shirts or tank tops. For Mini's(6 - 9yrs) Jazz shoes are mandatory. For Juniors and up (10yrs ) half soles/turning shoes are mandatory. Please bring a water bottle to each class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons.
