This class is for children ages 3 - 5 who have completed the beginner and intermediate classes. This is level 5 and 6 of the YMCA Preschool Swim Program. Children in this class are working towards the following skills.• Can comfortably swim 2 lengths (50 meters) of the pool without stopping• Comfortably treads water for 30 seconds• Focus is on stroke correction and endurance using the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke.

Located in the heart of the quickly growing Canary District, our newest Centre of Community is an 82,000 square foot, fully accessible facility. It features something for everyone, including two pools, an indoor track and gymnasium, weight room, cardio machines, green roof, kids' play structure, cycling studio, functional fitness training space, and more. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.
