Day Camp
YMCA Cedar Glen offers day camp programs throughout the summer, winter, and march break!
Our Cedar Glen Y Day Camp utilizes our outdoor centre to deliver a variety of programs. This location has access to large indoor spaces, 263 acres of green space and trails, and ropes courses. Programs operate outdoors rain or shine! Campers swim on-site. Summer Day Camp operates 9:00am – 4:00pm, extended hours are available on site from 7:30 - 9:00am and 4:00 - 6:00pm for an additional fee of $50/week. Bussing is available for $100/round trip per week.
Outdoor Education
Whether you’re staying overnight or coming for the day, you’ll find an environment that strengthens the relationships among participants and helps groups discover their potential. Cedar Glen welcomes elementary and secondary school groups, colleges and universities, retreats, youth groups, sports teams, conferences and other youth and adult groups.
We’re here to help plan a customized experience that achieves the goals of your group. The choices are up to you:
Flexibility: We’re open year-round for day, overnight and multiple night trips with flexible arrival and departure times. We welcome groups from 10 up to 250 guests.
Outdoor Programs: We tailor programming led by YMCA staff to achieve your objectives whether it’s building leadership skills, achieving curriculum expectations or selecting activities that engage your participants.
Packages: Our affordable packages include all meals and snacks, comfortable overnight accommodations, indoor and outdoor spaces for meetings or activities, as well as full or partial day and evening programming delivered by our staff.

Child Care (0-4 years)
YMCA Early Learning and Care programs offered at this location provide children from 0 – 4 years with the support they need to make a seamless transition to full-day kindergarten.

Program fees
YMCA Child Care fees are based on daily rates and are inclusive of all statutory holidays. Child Care fee subsidies are available for families who meet the eligibility requirements set out by the Region of York . Please contact the Region of York to begin the process of receiving subsidy at your earliest convenience.

We are excited to offer day and overnight experiences for both individuals and families to enjoy all year round. Book your pass or rental today!
Trail Pass
Trail passes are available Saturdays and Sundays, year-round. Passes must be purchased in advance – they will not be sold onsite. Trail passes can be purchased up to 72-hours in advance of the day you would like to come, subject to availability.
Family Camp
Our Family Camp program is a unique opportunity for your family to come together with other families in a COVID safe environment and experience the outdoors, all while going through an exciting schedule of facilitated outdoor programs. In 2022, we have Family Camps running in February, May, July, August & December.
Car Camping
From May to October, individuals and families can spend the night at one of our beautiful campsites. We offer a wide range of sites – whether your ideal site is a scenic spot, tucked into the forest or out in the open, we have a spot for you!
Cabin Rental
Our beautiful Grove Cabins are available to rent in the spring and fall seasons! Renting our rustic cabins is a great way to try your hand at camping, while still having some of the comforts of your own home. Located in a secluded area not too far from the Main Lodge, you will have your own cabin for sleeping plus another cabin for indoor activities.

Whether you are looking for teambuilding, leadership development or some outdoor fun, we offer exciting year-round outdoor programs!
We have a wide range of Outdoor Programs available such as Archery, Climbing Wall, Map Orienteering, Shelter Building, Fire Building and more! Programs are scheduled in advance and our team will work closely with you to create a customized schedule that meets the needs of your group. All our programs are delivered by a highly trained group of experienced and enthusiastic Outdoor Education staff, dedicated to making a positive experience for each participant.

Know where your food comes from.
YMCA Cedar Glen is home to a 4 acre organic farm, producing vegetables which are available through our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and enjoyed by visitors eating in our dining hall. The organic farm educates campers and students about organic vegetables and sustainable agriculture, and healthy food. A few of the 60 varieties of crops include: arugula, green onions, beans, dill, cabbage, beets, beans, basil and more!
