1. What programs do you offer for adults?

The YMCA of Greater Toronto offers a variety of programs for adults throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Whether you would like to participate in a huge range of fitness programming, are interested in upgrading your skills, need some help finding a job, or are looking for an innovative outdoor experience, we can help. Simply take a look at the programs and services we offer to choose the ones that interest you.

2. Which YMCA location is closest to me?
Depending on the services or programs you need, the YMCA has locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. For instance, we have eight YMCA Health & Fitness Centres, numerous Employment Centres to meet your needs, and a variety of locations that offer adult retreats and training courses.
3. How do I join the YMCA?
If you would like to become a member of the YMCA of Greater Toronto, there are tons of programs and services to choose from. In addition to our job training programs, outdoor experiences, and volunteer opportunities, we have eight YMCA Health & Fitness Recreation Centres across the Greater Toronto Area. To participate in our programs, visit your local YMCA or call us at (416) 928-9622 for more information.
4. How much does membership cost?
YMCA fees vary depending on the Centre you would like to join and the program that interests you. Once you choose the YMCA Health & Fitness Centre that meets your needs, contact us with any questions you have about applicable fees.

Absolutely! The YMCA offers a range of employment programs to help adults learn about the career & employment opportunities available to them. 8. What happens if I can’t afford the services you offer?
As a charity that serves all segments of our community, the YMCA of Greater Toronto provides financial assistance for all of our programs. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, members, community partners, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff, no one is denied access to a YMCA program simply because they cannot pay the full fee. If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please let the YMCA know when you call to ask about our programs or at the time of registration. Together, we can provide all our members with opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and leadership.

9. How can I cancel my YMCA membership?
At the YMCA of Greater Toronto, we value the participation of all our members. So, even if you choose to cancel your YMCA Health, Fitness & Recreation membership, we hope you will continue to remain a member in other ways – by volunteering your time or donating to our worthy cause. That said, canceling your YMCA Health & Fitness membership is easy. Simply provide us with 10 days notice in writing or in person and return your membership card to us. Please note that we can’t accept cancellations by phone, cancellations can’t be back-dated, and we do not issue refunds.
